My Second Home

, , ,

Staring at the stars,

they shine so bright

I see Venus in the sky,

with my best friends laying next to me.

The laughs and chuckles can be heard near by,

love is in the air,

croaking of the frogs,

sounds of the crickets.

Trailing down the rocky road with my friends by my side,

one with his arm around my right shoulder,

and the other around my left shoulder,

the crisp forest breeze weezing.

The most peaceful place on Earth,

where you don’t have to worry about a thing,

where everyone is family,

It feels like a dream.

I Write…

, ,

I write because I want to

I write because it helps me

I write because it’s fun

I write because it makes me feel better

I write because it’s therapy

I write because I can share my opinions

I write because I can show my feelings

I write because it’s my imagination

I write because it could be anything I want it to be

I write because it’s art

I write because I can be independent

I write because I can be in my own little world

I write because it’s what I’m good at

I write because I love it

I write…

“A picture is worth a thousand words, but is 400% less valuable, because a picture only captures one of the senses – sight. However, words can describe the other four senses, making writing four times more potent than photography.” – Jarod Kintz

Intimidation is what makes people insecure. At least that’s what I think. Being intimidated by someone can vary in different aspects, or ways. Most of the time there’s no need to be afraid of anyone. Everyone has their own special talents, and they’re own abilities, that nobody else on this planet can accomplish. Really showing who you are and standing out is important. This experience of intimidation has really been thrown at me within the last couple of years. I am 5’11” and barely sixteen years old. I tower over most boys and it’s obviously interpreted that they don’t want to talk to me. People that know me describe me as an all around nice person, I’m very accepting for everyone and everything that comes my way. It makes me feel horrible when someone is afraid of me because all that does is make me feel uncomfortable and slightly intimidated…

What Is After “The End?”

In life, we always wonder what happens to us after we are gone. We all have different beliefs, like going to heaven, reincarnation, or just “blackout.” This is not something we need to worry about now, but it is important to know where we are going after our deaths.

When my grandfather passed away, I wondered if he was still there. Yes, the cliche, “He will always be in your heart,” was mentioned, but I really wanted to know if he was still on Earth. There were many signs like spotting people that looked just like him or even a song that played on the radio that reminded me of him, but I still never really believed that he was there because of that.

Sometimes we just have to deal with the unknown. We do not know what will happen after we cross. It could be one of those scenarios, but what we have to do is just live life to the fullest and make the best of it.

Every person is different. It is great to realize that everyone is not the same in this world.

People usually judge the normal stereotypical male as a jock, skateboarder, or gamer. But I’m none of those. I am different. I hate sports, I hate Monday night football, I hate going to the gym, I hate skating, and I hate gaming. Don’t get me wrong…it’s not that I really hate all of these things, they are just not the first things on my list of likes…I do like to run…it clears my head…a lot! What most people don’t know about me, is that I love fashion, music, and hanging out with my twin sister. Some people pre-judge me because I have a silly side. I rarely hang around guys because they just aren’t the same person as me. I am very sensitive and sympathetic, and I care about almost everything. I love hanging around girls because they understand who I am and I understand who they are.

A point to know is that people need to learn how to treat women the right way. People do not realize that they can really take advantage of a girl. This is something that I understand because I hang around my sister all of the time and there are many boys that take advantage of her and hurt her.

This is something that has shaped my life and this is my personality. If anyone feels like judging me because of this, then they are really immature and I don’t have time for them. Just remember, the way you act is the way you are going to treat other people.
